Mr Kunasingam saw me after I fractured a bone in my foot. His team arranged XRays promptly and I was seen on time in a very well run fracture clinic. His team all made me feel welcome and as if they were helping me on my patient journey. Mr Kunasingam took his time to listen to how it happened and carefully took on board my concerns about work. He was very considerate when examining me. He took his time to fully explain the injury and how it would effect my movement. He then took me through his expected timeline to heal and how he would keep an eye on how I was doing. I was extremely happy with my consultation with this excellent surgeon. This experience has been repeated during my follow up. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Kunasingam for his expertise and bedside manner.

Dear Mr Kunasingam My bunion correction procedure in July was the best thing I have ever had done. It seems so long ago but I suffered minimal pain and the result was beyond all my expectations, indeed I am now really looking forward to having the other foot done! I am pleased to say that I am now wearing shoes that were destined for the charity shop as I never thought I would e able to wear them. Mr Kunasingam was very pleasant and professional throughout, explaining what was to be done and why and I had, and have, total confidence in him and the staff at North Down. Many thanks again and have a good time Downunder with your family over Christmas. Regards CAW

Mr. Kunasingam is one of the friendliest most approachable doctors I have met. 5 weeks ago he successfully removed a bunion ( can't wait to have the other one done!) and every time I met him he explained everything in detail and listened to any concerns I might have. I could not have had better treatment if I had paid for it and the courtesy shown by him and the nursing staff was second to none.

Mr Kunasingam is extremely professional and thorough. He is also (unusually for most consultants I've met) very personable and easy to get on with - he actually listens to what you say and will take into account your views concerns and opinions on your treatment and discuss them with you. He organises tests, X-rays, MRI's, date for the op and other aspects of your treatment efficiently and quickly. I am an NHS patient so this all comes as a very refreshing change. He operated on my foot and I am extremely happy with the results - instead of a deformed thing at the end of my leg I now have a foot which looks really quite normal for the first time in years and I'm walking without pain or discomfort after a few weeks of recovery. The scarring is minimal and very neat. He just needs to sort the other one out now! I understand that Mr Kunasingam has an excellent reputation amongst other medical professionals and it is thoroughly deserved.
